8th grade Graduation: the day of the big milestone 🎓

The end of the school year feels particularly special when it marks a real milestone in the pupils’ development. Our 8th grade pupils celebrated their graduation with a ceremony that brought together pupils, families and the school for a shared celebration.

The speeches were opened by the parents who were class representatives, who took the floor to recount these past three years from the perspective of those who have followed the pupils closely, outside the classroom.

Then it was the students’ turn: some of them had excelled throughout their studies, and they demonstrated this once again on this occasion, taking to the stage with sincere and well-chosen words.

“I’d like to thank my classmates for welcoming me and making me feel at home straight away, and my parents and teachers for the constant support they’ve given me over the past three years” – Elisa

The graduation ceremony held a few surprises in store. First came the light-hearted awards, presented with affection and a touch of humour – then the actual diplomas. These officially mark the end of this stage of their education and open the door to secondary school.

The ceremony concluded with the release of balloons in the courtyard: a traditional gesture marking the transition to a new phase in our pupils’ lives.

The closing reception brought the day to a perfect close: families, pupils and teachers were still together, for just a little while longer, before setting off into the summer and a new future.
