High School Clubs are kicking off: passions, projects and teamwork beyond the classroom
With the start of the new school year, the Liceo Linguistico Europeo and VIS – Vittoria International School are launching their Clubs. These are educational programmes integrated into the curriculum, designed to encourage experimentation, collaboration and the development of cross-curricular skills through practical projects.
For students on the IB programme, the Clubs contribute to the CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) programme and the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award. They also provide an opportunity to get to know classmates from other year groups and programmes.
During the Club Fair, students met the coordinating teachers and explored the options on offer, enabling them to choose the programme that best suits their interests:
STEM Club
Practical activities, experimentation and design in the field of science and technology, with a focus on problem-solving.
Creative Thinking
A workshop on the languages of creativity, divided into three areas: acting, screenwriting and set design; photography and videography; creative writing.
Incubator: from idea to project. Students develop their ideas in groups and put their entrepreneurial and project management skills to the test
The Clubs will support the students until April. At the end of the year, all the work carried out will culminate in a joint event, where we will present the projects we have completed.
