The students took to the stage after having already passed an initial selection round in class: those taking part had studied the word lists and earned their place in the final through their performance.

The Primary School Spelling Bee: the words have a champion
Yesterday, the theatre at Vittoria Junior International School hosted the Primary School Spelling Bee, a competition that tests pupils’ concentration, memory and command of English, letter by letter.
The classmates played their part: colourful banners and lively cheering turned the theatre into a real team celebration.
The winners for each year group were:
- Year 2: Lorenzo F.
- Year 3: Leonardo Z.
- Year 4: Gregorio G.
- Year 5: Leonardo S.
The title of Primary Spelling Champion was won by Gregorio G. from Year 4, who beat all his rivals with a superb performance.
