Six days in Vichy: full of discoveries, laughter and little adventures!

Our six-day stay in Vichy was an experience full of discoveries, excitement
 and, above all, adventures!

Staying with a French host family allowed us to discover new customs, a different culture and, of course, to put our French to the test! At first, communicating wasn’t always easy, but with a bit of courage, a few gestures and plenty of goodwill, we managed to make ourselves understood!

And thank goodness it wasn’t just French lessons! Between rock climbing, acrobatic jumps on the trampolines and delicious tastings of French sweets (an activity that went down particularly well!), we really didn’t have time to get bored!

Of course, not everything always went to plan
The rain decided to crash our activities on a few occasions, without being invited! And one of our mates even gave us quite a fright after a fall which, fortunately, turned out to have no serious consequences. It was more of a scare than anything else! In short, a few minor setbacks that we managed to overcome with courage, solidarity and good humour!

But beyond the laughter, the tasty treats and the little mishaps, this trip has, above all, taught us to be more independent, to adapt to new situations and to open up to others.

We’ve come back with our heads full of memories, a few more words of French, perhaps a bit of muscle ache
and certainly the desire to set off again!

Just six days, but a wonderful human, linguistic and cultural adventure that we’re unlikely to forget!
