Songs, planets and a journey to primary school: the end of the year at nursery
The nursery school’s end-of-year celebrations brought to a close a year dedicated to the theme ‘Space and beyond…’: bilingual songs, rhymes about the planets and a special farewell for the older children, who are ready for primary school.
The party for the 3- and 4-year-olds showcased the results of a bilingual music project. The 3-year-olds sang Il piccolo razzo and Zoom zoom zoom, I’m going to the moon.
Preschool Graduation
The 5-year-olds, meanwhile, celebrated the end of nursery school in a unique way: each pair transformed themselves into a celestial body, introducing themselves in rhyme and in two languages — one of the skills they had developed over the course of the year. Each pair described, in Italian and English, what they had learnt about the planet or astronomical object they were portraying.
A special moment was dedicated to the Earth and its protection, with the songs L'orso con il ghiacciolo and Kids for Saving the Earth.
The ceremony concluded with ‘I’m Ready to Go’, the presentation of the certificates and the release of balloons in the courtyard, officially marking the start of a new phase in their lives.
