A spirit of adventure and resilience: VIS students complete the Silver Journey of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award

Monferrato and the Susa Valley provided the backdrop for an extraordinary display of personal growth, adaptability and team spirit by a group of pupils from Vittoria International School.

The pupils have successfully completed the Silver Adventurous Journey, one of the most challenging and formative stages of the prestigious Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award (DofE) programme – proudly promoted by Rachel’s Learning Centre.

Three days surrounded by nature

Our young people undertook a three-day self-guided expedition, without the comforts of everyday life, demonstrating exceptional maturity and resilience. By supporting one another when tired and valuing each person’s contribution to the team, the participants never lost their smiles or their determination.

This trip is much more than just an excursion: it is an experience that leaves a lasting mark on one’s personal development, enriches one’s school memories and is recognised internationally as a mark of excellence, even on one’s CV.

Special congratulations to Anya, who has officially completed the highest level of the programme, the Gold Award! She is a shining example of dedication and perseverance for the whole school.
