Team-building for Year 7 pupils: games, trust and collaboration

To get the school year off to a good start, the Year 1 classes at Vittoria Junior International School spent a day on a team-building outing at Rachel’s Learning Centre in Castagneto Po.

The pupils took part in a series of traditional English games, designed to encourage them to get to know one another and to work as a team.

Through guided activities and challenges to tackle together, the children communicated, devised strategies and learnt to rely on one another, all in an atmosphere of fun and healthy competition.

Stepping out of the classroom and putting themselves to the test together strengthened their newly formed friendships and enabled each of them to discover the value of trust and teamwork.
