Vittoria Cup 2026: the closing ceremony and the Aquila team’s victory

The 2026 edition of the Vittoria Cup, the house competition that has kept the secondary school pupils engaged throughout the year, came to a close with the closing ceremony.

The afternoon began with speeches from the headteacher, Mrs Droz, the project coordinator, and the teachers acting as house captains, who looked back over the highlights of this year’s competition.

This was followed by a musical interlude performed by the students, which livened up the ceremony before the awards presentation.

The school magazine editorial team has therefore been given a subscription to Internazionale Junior, in recognition of the wealth of content they have produced, which has kept us informed and entertained throughout this school year.

A particularly moving moment came when the Year 9 pupils gave speeches to their classmates: their words of encouragement and responsibility touched everyone present, and demonstrated just how much the Vittoria Cup is able to bring together students from different classes and year groups.

Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for: the Vittoria Cup final. The Aquila team, this year’s champions, lifted the trophy.

The day drew to a close in the courtyard with drinks and snacks accompanied by a DJ set, with music, mini pizzas and celebrations.
