The event kicked off with an exhibition: graphic works, photographs and audiovisual installations curated by the scenography group welcomed families and students into the courtyard.
Words on the Edge: the high schools’ end-of-year celebration featuring theatre, an exhibition and music
The theatre and courtyard of Vittoria Junior hosted the secondary schools’ end-of-year party, centred around Parole in bilico — da un altro punto di vista (Words in the Balance — From Another Perspective), the final performance of the Arts Workshop.
The play was then performed. It all began with an anonymous message that appeared on the school wall: just a few words, but enough to upset the balance within a group of friends.
What begins as a discussion amongst friends gradually turns into a heated debate, marked by accusations, suspicions and shifting alliances. Inspired by Sidney Lumet’s - 12 Angry Men, the production explored the theme of bullying and its consequences through the work of the drama, acting and set design teams.
The evening rounded off with a toast and a DJ set. Not even a sudden downpour could stop the dancing – in true Vittoria style!
