Year 5 Primary School Graduation Day

We celebrated the end of primary school with a ceremony that brought together children, families and teachers for an afternoon that was both fun and moving.

The ceremony began with a welcome from the headteacher and speeches by the parents’ class representatives, who shared their thoughts on the past five years spent together with everyone present.

The headteacher then invited a few pupils onto the stage, who looked back on some unforgettable moments from their years at primary school — and even a few memories dating back to nursery school. There was laughter and a few tears amongst the audience.

Afterwards, the pupils performed a series of sketches which they had devised and written entirely themselves. The sketches covered topics such as friendship, growing up, school and the future. The audience really enjoyed them!

Then came the graduation ceremony: everyone passed.

In the garden, the release of balloons marked the start of a new phase.

The day ended with refreshments and mini pizzas for everyone.
