🌍✨ A journey between Lebanon and the Netherlands in Global Perspectives!

This week, our our fourth grade students students explored cultural diversity through two special presentations given by parents of our students!

πŸ•Œ Mrs. Baaklini, Oriana’s mother, shared stories about her childhood and adolescence in Lebanon, offering an authentic insight into Lebanese culture. The students wrote Arabic words using a Qalam brush while listening to traditional music. They also had the chance to try on traditional hats and taste Lebanese savoury snacks, making the experience even more immersive!

πŸ‡³πŸ‡± Mr. Verkerk, Nora’s father, engaged the students with an interactive presentation on the Netherlands, comparing Dutch and Italian cultures. The children had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss key points from the presentation.

A fascinating and hands-on experience that brought cultural diversity to life! πŸŒπŸ’‘
