The invisible enemy
The children discovered that bacteria hide on teeth and feed on what we eat, producing substances that ruin enamel and cause tooth decay.
Children aged 3, 4 and 5 participated in a special workshop with dentist Ilaria De Giorgi, learning the importance of taking care of their teeth. The dentist explained in a simple and entertaining way what happens to teeth when they are not properly brushed, showing pictures and models to make learning more engaging.

The doctor taught the correct technique for brushing teeth, using a giant toothbrush and a model tooth. The children learnt to brush gently, in circular movements, and not to forget their tongues!
Finally, we learnt which foods are friendly to teeth (such as fruit and vegetables) and which ones can ruin them (such as candies and sugary drinks).
A fun and educational experience 🦷😁
