Rugby scored a try at school

On the last two Wednesdays in November, the first two teams met an official rugby player who taught them the rules and techniques of the sport.

In their last two lessons, the girls met an official rugby player named Sofia. In the first lesson, she showed us how to score a try, pass backwards, kick and throw, but all without touching the ground with our knees.

In the second lesson, he taught us how to tackle, which was done by grabbing both of the opponent's legs as low as possible and then pushing them. After learning how to tackle, we took turns attacking and defending, but to tackle the opponent, all we had to do was pull off the Velcro strips attached to them.

I didn't think there was so much preparation behind this sport, I was really impressed! - Costanza T.

The pupils really enjoyed this sport and hope that this project can be repeated in the future.

This experience has taught us that we should not judge something by its appearance, such as rugby. - Nicolo di N.
