Projects, prizes and discoveries: the end of the school year for the four-year classes

As is customary, the last part of the school year was an opportunity for classes 1B, 2B and 3B of the four-year course to get out of the routine of lectures and dive into project activities, workshops and field trips. A way to experience school in an active, creative and engaging way, just like the spirit of our experimental high school.

Between cinema, conservatoire and STEM: 1B's journey

1B explored some of the most iconic places in Turin: from the Mole Antonelliana to the Museum of Cinema and the 'G. Verdi' Conservatory. They watched a film in the original language and participated in a STEM workshop, putting into practice the interdisciplinary skills developed during the year.

2B and the success of the Sea Exhibition

The 2B boys and girls, in addition to working on language and STEM projects, renewed their Exhibition on the Sea in four languages, with a second event well attended by families, students and teachers. A true communication and knowledge-sharing experience.

3B and a visit to the institutional heart of Turin

3B had the privilege of accessing places that cannot usually be visited in the City of Turin, such as the historic courtrooms and the Sala Rossa, and had a unique experience discovering the political and institutional life of the city.

Final presentations and award ceremonies
The year ended with a great collective moment: the presentation of the realised projects, a public vote and the awarding of prizes for the most popular ones.

The competing projects were:

  • 1B: The Words of Generation Z and The Canticle of Creatures: Bridging the 2030 Agenda
  • 2B: toghenDER and An exhibition on the sea in four languages
  • 3B: 4 excellences of the territory and Deep dives into Romantic Age

The audience - made up of students, families and teachers - chose 2B's ToghenDER, a project dedicated to gender equality education in primary schools, as the winner. Second place went to Il Cantico delle Creature from 1B, while third place went to 4 excellences of the territory from 3B.

A fairytale ending!

To close the festive moment, 1B read the short story The Illuminated Archivist, created for the Archivissima competition, which is currently still voting online:
